Paying MF's ?

Can you pay MF's with Disney gift card(s)? My daughter's school has a gift card scrip program where the school earns money on gift card purchases. Thought it'd be nice to pay the MF's that way so the school also makes out.

As long as the gift card has a visa or m/c you should be fine using it.....

I'm not sure what the previous poster means about the gift card having a visa or m/c. I called member services right after we purchased to ask this question and was told that we could absolutely use Disney gift cards, but that we would have to call in to use them. They can't be used to pay MF's online, they have to be entered by hand. You can also use disney visa rewards points as well.

I would assume that buying a gift card through school that they may not be Disney Gift cards. In that case you can purchase gift cards that have the mastercard or visa logo. If you can purchase Disney gift cards they also could be used for paying mf's. I hope this clarified what I was trying to say....sorry about the confusion.

This is exactly what I do

I have money direct-deposited into an online savings account every month. That way, it is like I am making monthly payments. Then, in January, I withdraw what I need and buy the gift cards.

I only wish you could pay with GC's online. It is very tedious to have to read off the numbers of 5 or 6 gift cards over the phone.

Yes, but when it's time you have to move your visa points to a disney rewards card. Then you can use them to pay for MFs.
