This is a great idea! We'll be there 8/18-8/23. Happy to send a few postcards! PM me with details-child's name, favorite top three characters (in order of preference), address, and any special info.

I am looking for a replacement Fairy Godperson...the person who was ging to do our postcards lost their suitcases. I have 4 lil ones who would LOVE to get postcards. Family trip is planned - October 8 - 14 - I will gladly send postcards to some kiddos - I have 3 boys and we would love if someone is going in September to send ours a postcard - one for all 3 is fine with us.

This is the greatest idea I have seen or heard in a VERY long time.....

So far we're sending to StephSAP and WDW1st-timers, so we have some room left for postcards! We'll be there 8/18-23.

I still have room for 1 or 2 more postcards to be sent out. One family cancelled due to changing date plans so now I have room to send to another family. Email me if you need a post card sent. I still want to keep it at us sending 10 out. This is a great thing to do!!!

Don't know if anyone can help but I would love someone to act as Fairy Godmother for my DD and send her a postcard but we live in England. We have planned a trip to DisneyWorld for 18 days (11/3-11/21) but she has no idea. Her birthday is on 10/21 and we plan to tell her then. It would be great if someone could send a postcard for that day or the day after.

My kids got their postcards yesterday! Oh my, talk about making a lil girls eyes light up! "How did they know we were coming?" Thank you so VERY VERY much!

My family is going in Sept. 2005. On property from 18th to 24th. I would be happy to send a few cards. PM me. I think this is a great idea! I was planning on sending some cards I picked up last trip to WDW (prestamp them) and asking someone at WDW to drop them in the mail. Has anyone else every done this? My DD will be turning 6 on our trip (my mom will be turning 66). Does anyone have any room on there list to add one more for September?

Also, we were also there last September just before my DD 5th birthday, and I found a few Disney Princess brithday cards (at Walmart) and had the appropriate character sign them. The characters thought this was a great idea! Jasmine in MK was especially happy to do it and when we went to see Ariel in the Judge's tent, the other Princesses and cast members in the room kept my daughter distracted while the Princesses sign their cards. Ariel practically wrote a small novel! They were so helpful, I almost cried. Anyway, I mailed the cards on our last day, and they arrived around her birthday. She couldn't believe she got cards from the Princesses. These cards are ones we will keep for always.

Please, if you promise to mail the cards please do it. I had made a request on line. Had three people offer to do it but I asked the first person that responded. My DS had an operation and we thought that a post card from Mickey would be nice. The card never showed up. I'm glad we never said anything about a special surprise from the mouse.

If you say you will do it please make it happen.

I really feel bad after reading your post... would it make a difference if I mail your son a card when I go on Sept. So far all the people I volunteered for, they got their card or a note if I cannot find the desired character. PM me for address. And I hope all is well with your son and family.
