Paying it forward...FP's?

I was just wondering...not sure if it was possible or not. I know we have a Paying It Forward thread for postcards. Would it be possible to have one for FP's? We're going in March and I would love to have FP's for EE and Splash Mt....I'd need six. I'd be happy to grab extra FP's as we leave the parks that week, and then when I returned I would post what I had to offer, sending them to the first Diser's who contatcted me. I know that sometimes FP's aren't accepted late, but wouldn't this be fun to try? What do you all think? Is this a no-no for some reason?

Sorry, I think it's a bad idea. Fast passes are only good during a certain time frame for a reason. I know that many people choose to use them late; and many cm's accept them to avoid confrontation...but if people stopped thinking that the rules didn't apply to them, things would go much smoother for a variety of things.

Sorry that may have sounded harsh. I know it's a completely innocent question. Personally, I won't use an expired fast pass.

Not so much of a problem using them later in the day but not on a different day so it wouldn't work.

Yeah, they expire, and again, like the person thinking they could take a group of 8 on one fastpass, this would defeat the purpose of the system.

While I think it's nice that you are trying to help, as others have indicated this would not work. However, one thing we have done is if we get FP and then decide not to use them, we hand them off to people walking to the FP area....it makes their day!

okay. Fine with me. Just a thought. I see this thread having the potential to cause problems, so if a moderator wants to remove it, fine with me. I can't figure out how to do it, if I can....

Most CMs don't care if it's after the time on the FP...most don't even check the date. I know, I used to work at Disney Studios. End of discussion.

We had one family act like that too! We had 6 Soarin' FPs and they looked at us like we were nuts! Found happy recipients outside. Of course, they looked at us like we were nuts...but took them!

Something similar happened to us! We'd gotten FP's for Space Mountain, and SM shut down. They said the FP's would be honored all day, so we tried giving ours to a couple of women on our way out of the park and they acted really suspicious of us. We explained the whole thing to them and then they finally took them and thanked us, but it was just funny to have to go through this whole explanation.

Hey, if someone wants to give me their FP's on the way out the park, I swear you'll get a big smile and a thank you from me!
