Paying in the DIS

Does anyone know if you can use a visa anywhere and everywhere at disney. I am hoping to put all food expenses for our planning trip on my card, no need to carry around cold hard cash

I am assuming that any place that takes credit cards will take it. I was at WDW end of December/beginning of January and I saw many signs at registers with the disney visa logo.

I believe VISA is excepted every where. And I know that you can put you VISA on your room key if you don't want to bring the actual VISA card everywhere, you just swipe the key! That can get dangerous though, b/c it doesn't feel like you are spending your own money!

some of the carts are not equipped with the machines for credit or room purchases, or their machines are not reliable, yes visa is accepted everywhere, but have $20-30 cash on you for drinks and such.

There are a few small places that don't accept credit cards - like the pineapple dole whip stand and a few drink stands, etc.

As an alternative, you can buy "Disney Dollars" and carry a few of those around. Or just have about $20.00 with you for some small things here and there, like someone else mentioned
