I was reading on another thread where Thomas Cook are giving $2 to the £1 on TC's.
This is probably a stupid question but does anyone know if you're allowed to pay your hotel in TC's? The reason I ask is because i'm booking my hotel direct through Disney and all I need to pay when booking is one nights deposit on my credit card. If I can pay the balance in TC's it would be a good deal.

Thanks Lyndon :thumbsup2

It seems Thomas Cook are having a special offer weekend on $ Travellers Cheques ($2 to the £ if you buy over a certain amount). Going from the other posts it seems some stores are advertising it and others aren't. My local one has a big sign up in the window about this special offer.

Lyndon - I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to pay in TC's (although i've never done it myself). When we've stayed at Disney before they accepted TC's for anything we charged to our room (which was vertually everything).

There's a thread started by Lizzy Lemon on this forum :thumbsup2

We got a £1000 worth of travellers cheques today and plan on using them to pay for the Swan when we arrive.

Sorry Completley off subject here but just wanted to say that we stayed at the Swan in 2003 and it was absoulutly perfect, have a great time.
