Paying for RPR with MasterCard prepaid

We have already booked and paid the first night with a debit card like we always do. But I would like to pay the balance with a Prepaid MasterCard. Is this even possible? The reason why, my wife won it a work for a contest. The card value is $1750. We thought it would be great to pay the balance with it at checkin.

Not a problem you can use the card at check-in and pay your balance at check out with it.

you can use it for your room when you check in.
hopefully, you'll have some left over for any incidental charges when you check out.

Thanks, we don't use room charging and they have my other booking card on file. I will ask at checkin and assume that I need to go to the counter to check out. The last time we stayed in December we paid cash at checkin like always. Then when we checked out they also did not release the hold on my debit card. We spent about 1 hour on the phone while driving home to get it straighten out. The TM at RPR was new and forgot to release the hold if paying cash or other forms of payment.

When we stay at RPR we use a prepaid master card and just pay the remaining balance when we check in and never had a problem
