Paying for laundry at ASMu?

Are the machines coin-op only, or can you use your room key (with charging privileges) to pay for the washer and dryer?

We were at the CR last week and the only way to pay for the laundry machines was with your room keys. We didn't know this, we had brought a whole bag of quarters with. Now we will put them in our coin jar for next years vacation fund!
