Hi everyone,

I hope you all can help me with a question that we have. My Prince and I are getting married in Oct. 2005. Because our budget is very limited, we only invited two guests. My question is, do we pay for everything? Their airfare, room, park tickets, transfer's etc.? My prince and I are staying for 7 nights. My one guest is from Canada and she mentioned staying 7 nights also. Ugh. I dont think my Prince and I can afford all 7 nights for the both of them. Our other guest said he has no problem paying his own way. How do we handle this situation?

Thanks!

You are not required to pay for your guests accomodations. It is a nice gesture if you can afford it but if not then don't worry about it.

If it becomes a question of if your guest can come or not, maybe let this person know what you can do, and then leave the choice up to her if she can make up the difference or not. I suggest getting reali prices before you try to make any decisions though, as there may be some good deals that will make it affordable for you both! The only thing I don't recommend is short changing yourself in order to pay for someone else. Keep in mind it is your special event, probably once in a lifetime, so make it how you want it to be.

That's one thing we dont want to do is short change ourselves. We thought that maybe we could afford paying for the airfare and the first two nights for the both of them but that comes out to around $1,100.00 give or take a few. I dont want to sound cheap but we also thought about putting them up in a value resort for the two nights while we stay at CBR. Does that sound Cheezie?

Hey, beggars can't be choosers!

Thanks everyone. I was feeling somewhat "guilty" but after hearing from you all, I feel so much better.

We have 8 guests travelling from the UK to our WDW Wedding in Sept 05.
We are paying all costs for 2 guests (my Mum and her twin) as they would otherwise not be able to be there for our special day.

As for the rest of the family members attending, Brides parents/sister etc, we have offered to contribute to the cost, but have invited them to pay as much as they can afford.

My Best Man and his wife are paying for themselves in full.
