I understand when you make a reservation for Cinderella's Castle you must have a credit card. Is the payment for the dinner immediately posted to my credit card? Is tax and gratuity added onto my credit card right away also?

Do they just hold amount due if you are on a dining plan?

Any explanation of the payment details would be appreciated.:)

(sorry I put this in the wrong section!!)

Yes

If you are on the DDP the charge should not show up. They do an authorization to make sure the card is good and only charge if you are a no show.

I made a ressie last week for CRT and I'm on the DDP.

The CM accidentally charged my CC and then quickly reversed it. It still showed up on my CC statement though. I called them Saturday morning and told me they did reverse it but of course it's going to take my bank a few days to reverse it.

The charge for two adults and two children was $152 for lunch. I'm guessing taxes were included. Not sure on gratuity though.

I made a ressie for CRT two weeks before that and my CC was just held. No charge. I cancelled that one with no problem.

My understanding is that the tip is included in the price of the meal.

Please correct me if I am worng - I am eating at CRT in November and would like to know ;)

After looking at the prices and what my CC was charged I am going to say that YES tip is included.

wdwinfo.com has adults are 33.99 and children as 22.99 for lunch. That is 113.96. My CC was charged 152.XX. I'm going to assume that is enough for tip and taxes.

Just waiting for my CC charge to be reversed now since we are on the DDP.
