If I make a room reservation using a PIN code... for 10days..

then I arrive at resort and decide to pay for DDP , is this possible ??

if i just want DDP for say, 6 days, so go to reception and say I want to pay for DDP for 6 days ?? what do you think ?? is this possible or do they need advance notice ?

I don't think you can. To the best of my knowledge, it has to be added, and paid for, before you get there. Not even sure you can add it to a room only reservation. Used to be you had to have a pkg that included it. And I don't think you can add it for just part of your stay either.
But...it may have all changed and I j:lmao:ust didn't get the memo!!!

You can't pay for DDP when you arrive.

It appears you are on a package reservation through WDTC. If you want to add a dining plan to your reservation, you must do it no later than 72 hours before arrival. Full payment on a package is due 45 days before arrival. If you add the plan within 45 days of arrival you must pay for it in full when you add it.

If you have a room only reservation, you must convert it to a package to add dining. Unless you are an annual passholder or eligible for the military discount, you must then add tickets (at least a one-day base park ticket per person age 3 or over) to your package reservation.

If you add a dining plan, you must add it for your entire stay. The dining plan is based on how many nights you stay. If you add the regular dining plan to a 7 night stay, you will receive 7 TS, 7 CS and 7 snack credits per person. There's no way to buy the plan for fewer nights than you have on your reservation. The only way to do this is have two separate room reservations.

OK .. just don't know in terms of dollars and cents , if its worth it for me..

since I was paying for DDP in this case. thought it would be OK... to pay for it .. since room is reserved with a PIN..

Unless the PIN is for free dining, it has nothing to do with the dining plan; it means you're getting a room discount. Even if the room is discounted, in order to get a dining plan you have to a) book a package with tickets unless you meet an exception, and b) add and pay for the plan no later than 72 hours from arrival.

depending on your party, it might be worth it. its expensive, but look at the meals you "think" you'd get and tally it up... you might find you save anywhere from $50-$200 dollars by getting it.
