From what I can gather, you book your dining plan when you make your reservation with DVC (or up to 48-hours prior to arrival) and pay for your dining plan upon check-in.
I'm wondering if Disney let's you call in advance of arrival to pay by phone....? I'm asking since we're booking a vacation for another family as a surprise and including the dining plan - can we pay for it without them having to pay at check-in? Would I be allowed to call with a credit card to pay before they arrive? Or would I have to give them a loaded pre-paid credit card to pay for the dining plan when they check-in?
