i really want to eat at the castle. And I've been debating because I know it's pretty expensive. But I think it's just something I don't want to miss out on. And I've been thinking about it and would it maybe be less expensive if I used two table service credits on that and then paid for two other ts meals? Or just pay for crt? It's just for my hubby and and I

If it's breakfast, then OOP is better. The value of a TS credit is around $38. If you have a couple a la carte or buffet breakfasts, they might be the better option for OOP.

I'm on the fence for lunch. We use the plan when we go for dinner, I think it is a wash when we factor in the gratuity. For lunch, I am not sure.

FINANCIALLY SPEAKING, paying OOP is better than using DDP.

Rusty's right. The $63 includes tip, so the math breakdown per credit would be equal to about $27. There aren't many restaurants out there where you will spend less than $27 when you include entree, dessert and drink.

Rule of thumb I believe is to always pay OOP for 2 TS credit meals. We are going in November and actually using 2 credits though. But mainly b/c we will have an extra TS credit b/c we are arriving so late on our first night on-site that we wouldn't use a TS that day.
