Paying for Add-On w/Credit Card

Has anyone settled small resale add-ons, < $10 thousand, using a credit card vs a certified check? If you did, what agency did you use? Thanks!

If you're planning on purchasing a resale, you have to pay via certified check, you can't place the purchase on a credit card. You can use the convience checks to write yourself a check, deposit the funds in your account, and then withdraw the funds once available to get the certified check. Otherwise, you can purchase your add-on through DVC, they'll gladly take a credit card, for any amount!!!!

I dont know about going through an agency but if you go through DVC you can use your CC.

Be careful if you use the convenience checks with yourself as the payee. Some credit card companies will not allow this: they consider it to be a cash advance, and will charge the (typically much higher) cash advance APR accordingly. AT&T does this, for example.

Yup, we did a 75 point add on and used our Visa cc, but we bought thru Disney.
