I am heading down to Orlando Jan 30th and have the option to go to Universal Tues 31st, Wed 2nd, or Thurs 3rd. The only Orlando crowd meter I looked at rates that time of the year a 1 out of 10. The cost of the ticket is $120 for the park to park and I believe the express add on is $31. I am just wondering if it will even be worth it? In the past I can come close to doing most everything I want, but it seems like a rush and if I have the express pass I won't have to rush as much in the end. On the other hand it might be so slow in the parks that i won't even need it. What say you Universal regulars?

You don't need to purchase the express pass in advance. Once you are inside the park, if you think you need it, go to any store and buy it.

I doubt you'll need it -- but also bear in mind that single rider lines, when they're open, are usually even faster than Express Pass (if you don't mind going solo on the rides).

be there when the park opens, use the single rider line and you should be fine.

don't ever buy the epp until you are in the parks and can see the wait time for lines.

once you buy it, it belongs to you.
no refunds.

even if it rains, no refunds.
