Paying dues with Disney Gift Card

I didn't see that, but maybe I just wasn't looking in the right place. The $20.75 I got from the DGC website so I think it's Canadian. I liked it better when it used to give the value in U.S.$. That screenshot would be really helpful. I'll take a snip of it and save it in my DVC spreadsheet.

I made my final dues payment just now. I was using a $500CAD gift card. So I choose a value I know is less that the US value of the card. In this instance I input 300US for the payment. When the card goes through I get this screen where it shows you how much in US dollars is remaining.
Then I go in to make a final payment, in this case of 64.99 using the same gift card. This time the 64.99 went through no problem. Sometimes it will decline saying there is not enough funds, then I just reduce the payment to a penny less and it goes through fine, but I always try the full amount first. So today my 500 CAD was worth 364.99 US. It varies all the time. Hope this helps.
