When you renew your pass before it expires (we expire on august 13th, rented last week) are you supposed to get charged the new payment and the old payment during the overlap time? I got charged the new payment the day I renewed, but then I got charged the old payment today.

We were there last week visiting with friends who have APs. I knew their year was almost up (we visited with them same time last year but we did not go to a park because they had not gotten their passes yet) and asked them if they were going to renew. They told me yes, they were going to but they had to wait because when they renew the first payment is taken out immediately and they had just paid the last payment so if they did it now it would be like paying twice in one month. They were going to wait until the very last second to renew so that wouldn't happen.

I assume this to mean you can make pmts on AP's? They did not tell us that and we had to pay in full up front.

I could be wrong, since I'm a fla resident, but I think monthly payments are only offered to fla residents. Unless they changed it with the last update

Yes, you are charged your first payment as soon as you renew. So if you renew before your last payment is made on current pass, yep.....it appears like you are paying double for that month

Isn't renewal automatic? If I do nothing my Universal renews automatically
