Paycheck

Here's screen shots of two of my paystubs from my first college program. The earlier one shows my pay rate at $6.67/hr plus a $0.50 QSR premium (during straight time) which totals $7.17/hour. A later paystub shows my pay rate as $7.17/hr, with no premium. Same amount of pay, just all lumped together.

Is it a premium in the case that it is minimum wage on one line and an extra 50 cents on the next line? Nope. Not anymore. It IS a standard pay rate of 50 cents over minimum wage, which is the SAME thing. This is for all QSFB cast members.

Wow you are so pathetic it is not even funny...continue to think that all QSFB get a premium and i will continue to laugh at you...

Is there a reason that you think you are better than everybody else? :confused3

I can't stand how rude and condescending you are to everybody on these boards and the Facebook group. You don't know everything about Disney and you need to realize that other people who have done the program had different experiences than you! Let people share their experiences so that other participants can get their questions answered and get over yourself!

I just want to say congrats to you! I love my role in FSFB. More hours would be ideal to me, but you make the best of it. There are days I love it and days I hate it but overall I'm happy. Any questions about it, the my paychecks, what a typical day looks like - anything! - and I'll gladly answer it for you, truthfully.

Well I'm glad to see that people actually make money! Everyone I talk to is always like "No, you don't make anything at all, dont think that" Blahblah.

I mean, if you don't spend too much on food and stuff, I'm sure with their pay and hours you could save a good bit.

It all depends on location. I made more than enough my first program. Now, however, I only work 30 hours a week unless I can pick up extra hours (which is rare, I think there's something wrong with my EHH). My paycheck right now, after rent, is $103 every week.

Well that's definitely better than nothing! :) May I ask what is your job? (role? haha)

Thank you!! What location do you work at? Do you have pretty regular hours or do they change every week??

I'm in FSFB, as are two of my roommates. I have a very set schedule, since my location is only open for dinner. One of my roommates has a set schedule for the most part, but the other it varies. I think is FSFB, set schedules are a little more common than some other roles. When I worked QSFB, my schedule was all over the place.

And yeah, $100/week is something, but unfortunately it's not enough for me. I do honestly struggle to pay my bills every month, not because I don't manage my money well, but because my bills come to $430/month and I only make $400. For the first time since I started working, my parents are helping me out when I need it though. $20 for gas here, a little for groceries there.

Woah, how are your bills $430? Do you pay like phone bills, etc?

My car payment is $160, my car insurance is $100, renter's insurance is $25, cell phone is $60, and some other things. My student loans also go into repayment starting Dec. 12, as I just graduated, so that's another $679/month in bills. Not sure how that's going to happen, but I'll figure something out.

Ouch! That really sucks, I'm sorry :/

Is it possible to request more hours?

There's the extra hours hotline, but I can never find anything on there. I'm still up to date on my training for my location from my first program so I try to pick up shifts there when I can.
