Pay total with Disney gift cards

When we check in at the resort, can I ask them to credit the 1 night deposit so I can pay the entire total with gift cards?

I *think* I remember them telling me you can pay with up to 3 gift cards. We just paid off our balance (room only as we have AP) last night and used only gift cards. I had three of them total.

You need to pay it before you check-in, because on the day of check-in, the resorts process all remaining balances to the CC on file once the computer system starts the day, around 6am. I also suggest using the disney giftcard site to combine GCs, you can combine up to $1000 onto 1 GC if you want to.

How long ago did you pay the deposit? If it was a long time ago, I would be concerned that trying to do this would create some kind of snag with the cc.
You can call to pay the balance off before check in with gift cards to ensure a balance doesn't hit your cc. Then you could ask your question about the deposit.
