Was just looking around on the website & noticed that the option to pay monthly for a pass is gone. Is this permanent or just because of the 6 mos free promo?

I believe it's because of the promotion. You can normally do the flex pay on the Power and Preferred AP but not the Premier.

If you want the 6 month free, you cannot pay monthly. They always do that. If there is a promo, you cannot pay monthly. You can still purchase an AP and pay monthly, but you will not get the 6 months free. At least that is how they had it last year (and previous years) when it was a year free.

Here is the link (and what it says about the pass & purchase) for the monthly payments if that is what you want. You will not get the 6 months free though...

Questions about the Flexible Payment Option?

The pay for a year and get 6months free is a good deal.

Just stop @ your local McDonalds and get the code from the large drink..

Well worth the money:thumbsup2 18 months for the price of 12!!

I found out from another poster on this board that you do not need the code from McD's!!! You can just order online and they do not ask for the code. http://www.universalorlando.com/annualpass/index.php.html

Also, if you have AAA, they have the 6 months free and their price is only $184.99 as opposed to the $199.99 My DD is heading there tomorrow with her boyfriend for his pass. :thumbsup2
