Pay it Forward....Postcards

Hi all:
A couple of months ago, a Disboard member sent my boys a postcard from Disney telling them that they were excited they were coming down. The kids LOVED it and couldn't believe that their favorite characters knew they were coming. So, I am going to pay it forward. If you are going down to Disney soon and would like a postcard sent from Disney to your kids, I will do so for the first 5 responders. Please include the following...

Names of kids and ages
Address
Favorite Disney Character
When your trip is.

The only thing asked (from the original member who started this) is to pay it forward to someone when you go.

Her name is Anjolina Belle, and she will be taking her first trip to Disney from July 9-13.

This is a lovely idea! But, unfortunately, in the world we live in we have to think twice about giving out the names and ages of our children, along with our addresses. Also, giving out addresses and telling strangers when we'll be on vacation may not be the best idea.

I think Tricia is being very nice, and like I said, it's a great idea, but everyone please be careful. This is a public discussion board, and is read by other people besides us. The next person down the line could have other motives.

True true. I agree with the above and wouldn't ever post on the board. But, if you feel comfortable, send me a PM. My kids still look at their postcard. Just thought it was an awesome idea. (For what it's worth, I'm a mom of 4 kids 21, 17, 4 and 7, married, dance teacher to kids).

They LOVED it. My older son was a bit skeptical on how in the world Donald would know he liked him best. (ever the cynic) But, my youngest was thrilled. In fact, they picked up the postcard yesterday and were reading it again. It meant the world to them.

Great idea!! I'll do it too but hurry and PM me the info we leave in just a few days. My girls will love doing this.

My daughters loved the postcards! Of course the older girls figured out something was up, but Anjolina (shes 7) totally thought Minnie sent her a card----she still is wondering how Minnie knows she is coming to visit!

Once again, Thank you SOOOOO much for making my daughter happy!

I will be going soon and would be willing to do the same for anyone who PM's me the info needed to send cards to their kids!
