Looking at package deals right now for Seaworld...specifically the kids free deal. Do you have to pay it in full at booking? Or a deposit then pay in full a few months before arrival ( like Disney's packages)?

We were charged in full at the time of booking. We purchased our package via the website, though....maybe they would offer other options if you call.

Thank you Gina! You're the go to person for Seaworld! :thumbsup2

And since you're stayed at Residence Inn...maybe you could answer another question for me....is it walking distance from RI to Seaworld or do you have to take the shuttle? We're only familiar with Disney and always use their buses but it's my understanding they run more often than Seaworlds? Was trying to find a map showing proximity to the park but haven't come across one yet.

And one more question....did you have any issue being able to get your QQ during Christmas week since it's first come first serve? I hate to pay onsite for that benefit then not be able to get it.

You *could* walk from the RI to SeaWorld, but I wouldn't personally recommend it. Its not hugely pedestrian friendly between the two points, and it would be a fairly long stroll.....which could be a killer on the feet after a long day of walking around the park. The shuttle runs very, very frequently, its a free perk for onsite guests, and will drop you safely right at the front gates. Its definitely your best bet.

We were able to get Quick Queue for each day with no issues. We always picked up our QQ for the following day the day prior (so picked up Mondays QQ on Sunday) right as soon as the Expedia Desk opened for the morning, usually about 7:20 am (they post an opening time of 7 am, but don't start handing out QQ for 15-20 minutes thereafter). The only day we would have had a problem was our check-in day.....there was a sign posting that they were "sold out" of QQ when we checked in around 2 pm. But that was for that same day. We were still able to get the QQ for the following day with no issues. I don't think you will have any problem at all :) .

Enjoy your stay!!! :goodvibes

Wonderful...thank you! You've given me much better info than calling their customer service line :thumbsup2

FYI - we did the kids free deal thru the sw website and picked residence inn - going in the fall. Just a tip to check the rates - I initially booked it at one price and checked 3 weeks later on a whim and the price had decreased. I thought it was a good deal for the first price (we added in BG tickets too) but paid $100 less when the price dropped. Just had to call and refund/rebook. So keep in mind to check the prices every so often if you book it.
