I don't think preference is the problem. I think the comment of I am just glad the women in my life maintain themselves is the issue for me.

Silver hair = a woman hasn't taken care of herself . Ummm ok.

If a man is bald , I would guess you don't automatically think , he needs to take better care of himself .

And yeah, it does bother me that that someone would said it is a complete turn-off...I'm not a fan of long hair on a man but I would never dismiss someone because of it. I've actually met some very very handsome men with long hair. I'm also not a fan of an older woman with long straight hair down their backs. That can look quite drab to me but I have seen a few women over 30 who can actually pull it off. So, I know all about preferences--I just think their are exceptions. I have seen some really ugly haircoloring jobs too, lmbo, but hey! as long as it is not grey... lol

I love Paula's hair color,. In fact, I credit Paula Deen and Jamie lee Curtis with giving me the nerve to put down the hair dye. My hair is quite silvery, about 50%or more. I get compliments all the time and I'm always surprised that people think I have highlighted my hair. Nope. It's just very clean and shiny. I wear a lot of blue and white or silver. Looks great with my fair skin and light eyes.
