Paula Deen's hair

I loved her hair in the early shows that she did. To me it was much more natural looking.

To those who said they didn't like women who had white hair, my question is what color do you want them to go to. My hair use to be dark brown and now its white and I get low lites in it so its not so stark, but I would much rather see a woman with white hair at a certain age than to have the really fake dark color.

First, her hair is a wig. Second, unless you are 70 years old, you are too young to have this hair style.

Based on the way her hair looked during her interview with Matt Lauer, I don't believe it is a wig. For the first time I remember, and I watch her show a lot, her hair was not perfect. She looked like she'd been run threw a ringer.

I also think she has very pretty hair and I'd be happy to have it.

I totally agree. Right now, I have very little hair (thanks to chemo), but what is coming back is completely white. I just can't see me dying it. It would look very strange. Nothing I hate more than to see an older woman with very obvious dyed hair.

I totally agree with you. I think white hair can be very striking. Healthy, shiny and natural. It's much better than having a silver zipper if they color it and do not color it at least every 4 weeks. God, I hate roots.:headache:

I like #2 and can see other women besides 70 year old women wearing it:confused3

Now this hair do on the other hand

screams 70 year old woman :rotfl2:
I know it was a wig but my Grandmas hair was like this.

Her whispy hair-do always reminds me of a full-size feather duster with the wood handle removed. Somewhere she has a drawer full of those handles. Maybe she burns them in her wood-fire oven.

Which style do you like? Paula Deen has white hair but it is not old lady hair. I didn't know she had a wig, but, like Dolly Parton, it is perfect and always different so very well could be. I have seen it less than perfect so it does make me wonder...

someone once ask Dolly how long it took to have her hair styled. Her answer was, "I don't really know.. I'm never there." :rotfl2:

My hair was 99% gray by the time I was 30. I have been dying it but I'm thinking about going natural. I have seen women of all ages embrace their gray hair. When coloring, I go with my natural med-dark brown color. I have to color my hair every 7-10 days because the roots become noticeable very quickly. It's a ginormous pain. While Paula Deen grates on my nerves, I think her hair is very becoming.

lol, no...#2 shown is hardly Farrah Fawcett hair. Oh my God. Too funny. There's a big difference. Maybe you did get what you asked for at the salon. ;)

That #2 photo is more of the 80's layered big hair than 70's feathered. Paula Deen is a bigger gal with a big (looking) head. I think she needs big hair to balance her out. She'd look pretty old and haggard with flatter, smooth hair of today's styles. Some women in the South still do bigger hair. It is really hard to transition them to flatter hair. There are a few I have tried with and I get nowhere, lol. But really, Paula's 66 yo, she needs the uplift this hair gives her, her hair does not drag her down. Everyone cannot wear every style.

I don't have a lot of hair experience, but I always thought it looked liked she had several wigs.
