How sad He also voiced one of the cats in The Aristocats.

This is indeed sad news. I loved watching all the interviews with him. Paul Winchell seemed to love every minute of his job.

Wow, you don't realize how someone like that can touch your life without you never having met them Thurl Ravenscroft passed away while we were at Disney in May...it's sad to know that they are no longer here but it is comforting to know that they left behind huge legacies that we as well as future generations can continue to enjoy.

I just read the story I work with abused and neglected children so I can understand his need to seek constant approval but never feel worthy of praise. When you are told your entire childhood that you are worthless (as he probably was) it becomes ingrained in you. It is amazing that out of all that pain he was able to create many things that brought joy to people. I hope that he is truly at peace.
