Does anyone happen to know if Paul Looper still works for Disney Photography & covers MK Shoots? I ve just been reading Summers TR for what must be the 100th time now :cutie: & read her review of Paul Looper. Like Summer i was going to try to request him but dont want to do so if he no longer works for them.

Any one had Paul as their photographer for their MK Shoot recently??

I also had Paul for my MK/MGM shoot and he was amazing! I have heard that he left Disney in September, but I know some other girls have used other photographers since that point and have had good experiences.

Is there any way you'd be comfortable in indicating or hinting on who you had and didn't like? ;)

Really, did things go that bad then :scared: ?? ok im starting to panic now  If poss can you name & shame the culperate so i know who not to request :thumbsup2
Im trying to remember who Amanda had as her pics were amazing, so*ds law her tr does nt still exist:rolleyes:

I wont name names but he is well liked on here and yet I cant bear to look at my pictures, alot are out of focus and the castle is cut off most of them. I cried when I got my proof because they are quite bad, in some you cant even see my husband! you know th ones where I'm in front and then husband in the back and then the castle, well you cant see him in them!

I think now that disney know that people are not happy with their photographers its getting better, when we complained they mentioned about a website where you could see samples of the photographers work so it might be worth asking about that so you can see the style.

There are some good ones just like paul though, vicki ardnt i think is her name has a similar style and there is another lady who is very good but I cant think what her name is

We had Ty and he was very good. We just got our pictures today. There are a few that I am not too happy with but for the most part they are all wonderful.

My only suggestion is that we only made a few suggestions. We kind of felt like he was the professional and should know - and he did. There is just one shot that I did not like. Make sure you speak up and tell him what you want. We really wanted Main Street but they were doing so much work on Main Street that morning we could not get it but he got us standing infront of the Emporium and that shot came out great. Remembering Summers pictures we also requested the walkway in the center of the castle and we got some great shots of the wonderful arched ceiling. We also wanted the carousel and got some great shots but unfortunately they are all portrait style and I would have like one or two landscape so you could see the whole horse and not just his head.

We brought our Bride and Groom ears with us to the shoot and got some great pictures with these on also. I did not all of the photos with the ears on but we got a few really cute shots.

You could make screen prints of some of the photos you like from this site and bring them with you and show your photographer the style you like.

Thank you for sharing your experience, how the hell can they cut off part of the castle??? Hello thats the 1 thing we all pay massive amounts of money to have our pics taken by. Its not like its a descreet building, its a castle!!!
Thats terrible, you d figure after paying out a lot of money for the mk shoot that you d have an amazing photographer to go with it. :sad2:

If you dont want to name him on the boards could you possibly pm me his name:goodvibes
If by any chance the other great photographers name comes to mind please let me know. That way i can at least keep a few names in mind to request

i am unable to send you a pm, its not on the list under your name

Sorry hun for some reason i think i accidently took this option off a while a go. Switched back on now so you should be able to pm me:thumbsup2

Can someone pm me the name too? The MK shoot is one of the most important things to me and I can't stand the thought of having someone who can't capture the castle :rotfl:

i dont want to pm peoples names as its not fair, just because our pics are bad doesnt mean he is a bad photograher, many people have had him and loved his work

I'm not sure if it exists yet, this was back in sept when they emailed me about it

Just curious if you could share that site so I could see their work?

Here is a link to their current site of sample photography. It has improved a lot since then.

Here is a link to the story of our disastrous Magic Kingdom photo shoot. Again, things seem to have improved lately. For one thing, they're definitely using better equipment.

I had Amy Anderson and she was beyond wonderful! You can see my pictures here: Log in is "Leisher / Reese BP" Password: "1971"

They are sooo good and I love them!!!!!

P.S. lurkyloo, your descriptions of your pictures have me hysterical laughing :rotfl: which is bad because I'm in my school library right now!
