Yeah, I just hope he's doing the right thing. He's a great player and is missed by the team but he's taking a chance coming back that's for sure. I hope all goes well for him.

I'm not a Pat's fan but DH is one. I don't know if it's a good thing. Yes, he was cleared by doctors but the brain is something that is very mysterious. I just hope this isn't a decision that he and/or his family later regret. No doubt he is a team leader, and at this point they need him, but I fear for his health.

I was surprised to read that his stroke was cause by a hole in his heart. The hole allowed a clot to leave the heart and move to the brain.

I have mixed emotions on this one. Yes it would be a very positive thing for the Pats for him to be back. No, nothing is worth jeopardizing your health and, in this case, possibly your life.

Still if the doctors are as sure as they can be and not just rubber stamping his prognosis , then he should play. It seems like this is what HE really wants to do.

From what I have been seeing there is no indication he is taking a chance here. The whole in his heart that caused the clot has always existed. The doctors are saying there is LESS of a chance of a problem now that it has been fixed then there was before

Don't get me wrong, I would never want anyhting bad to happen to him. But all nervousness aside, if his Dr's, who are some of the best , feel football does not increase his chance of another stroke...Im happy!

I am so happy he looks well & sounds well... but I am also so worried for him.... His wife is a stronger person than I... fear would make me say NO if I were her. On the plus side, apparently every doctor that has seen him, has cleared him, both from within the organization and outside the organization... I don't think they'd do it if there were dangers....
