As day three of the adventure begins I have formulated a plan to increase my odds of meeting Donald! We shall do an enight Monday, where tons of characters hang out and do a character meal or two! This is our Epcot day, so we proceed leisurely since future world does not open until 10:00 a.m. This kills me because I am an early riser. When we come down stairs we go to the Concierge desk to purchase tickets for Enight and a ps for a character meal at Gulliver's for later that evening. As we are being taken care of I ran into Rhonda from the Community Board! I had met her at Discon so we recognized each other.
Next we are headed to breakfast at tubbies again- we run into the Character caravan in the Lobby of the Swan! I quickly look around no Donald!!!! We did get a good shot with Minnie and Mickey which I use as clipart, see below. Also there was some other character from Junglebook that I got a good picture of DW. No Donald but the day was still promising! After Tubbies we take the boat over to the international gateway. Walking through England before it is open is very cool- we took some wonderful pictures, I do think England is my favorite country!
We spend most of the morning at Epcot, I could watch the fountains all day. I wanted to get over to World showcase by 1 P.M. to see Off Kilter so we made sure we were over there. Much to my surprise we run into Debi, my chat co-host! She is a major off kilter fan. We arrived early enough to get shaded seats. I run over and get some fish and chips and a cold beer and we enjoy an incredible show! They really are so fun to listen to! Now some shopping in and around WS and we decide to head back and take our break. Off to the grotto hot tub!
We scheduled a later dinner, at Gulliver's based on a recommendation of a fellow we met at the swan. The meal was great, an Italian Buffet, the characters- Pluto and Goofy RATS!!!!!!!!! I do enjoy Pluto but NO DONALD!!!!!!!!!!! The evening is at the boardwalk. We watched IIluminations from the bridge, shopped and watched some improv. We also went and enjoyed a couple of drinks at Jellyrolls, the famous Discon hangout!!!! It was nice to go back but I sure missed the whole gang. Ellen loved it and said she could see how a big group could have a blast in there.
Well day three over no luck with the duck yet. Tomorrow is my last chance, stay tuned
