JUst wanted to let everyone know I got a text from Patty that they got their first bit of pixie dust! They were upgraded to first class for their flight down. Hopefully, that means their flight got off the ground in Philly on time. I will keep everyone posted as I hear from her. I know we are all sending huge amounts of and wishes for

UPDATE: They are in Orlando in their rental car on the way to Port Canaveral!!

Thanks for all the wishes for pixie dust and good weather. Just checking in from the hotel. We've had a beautiful day so far. The sun has been shining (it's typical Florida HOT) but no rain!!!!! We were so excited to get upgraded to first class. I'll be sure to post all about it when we get home. Looking at the NOAA site right now, looks like Ike might miss us all together!!!! WOOHOO!!! Oh an another little pixie dust. We are taking a shuttle from the Radisson to the port in the am. There are other disers here who we've become friends with and they were all on the 10am shuttle. When I made our reservations there were no spots left on that shuttle so we were on the 10:30 one. We just checked at the desk to make sure we were on the list and there is an opening on the 10am shuttle now!!!!

Well got to run, just wanted to say hi gals. Thanks for all the prayers looks like Ike is listening!
