Can someone please show me the best walking route between these 2 parks? Thanks

From DHS to the Boardwalks Luna park pool there's only one way, right along the lake, once you get to the pool go through the pool area and through the hallway with the arcade and bathrooms. That hallway will take you to the Boardwalks center garden area, from there just get on the boardwalk towards the ESPN club,go over the bridge and turn right towards Epcot.

There is only one walking path between the two parks.

When you come out of DHS, go to the right and follow the path to the Disney busses. But you will see the path moving beyond the bus area,a longtime he water. Follow this path, and it will bring you to the Boardwalk. You can cut through the Boardwalk hotel or take a slightly longer route along the Boardwalk to see the sights.

Move right along the Boardwalk and across the bridge, and you will be at Epcot.

Alternatively, when you leave DHS, instead of going right, you could go let and just take a Friendship Boat over to Epcot. These boats also stop at the Boardwalk, if you want to get off early and walk around that area.

The Beach Club/Yacht Club Hotels thread has a great satellite image with the walking routes marked. It is in the middle of the very first post.

At the very bottom you can see a small greyish path that is labeled Epcot Resorts-Hollywood Studios Connector it goes from the far right of the entrance of HS following the route the boats take and dumps out at the bridge where the Boardwalk and the Dolphin connect near Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance hall

If you haven't been to this area of WDW before, you're in for a real treat. I think it may be my favorite area in all of WDW. The view from the Beach/Yacht club, while standing on the white sand beach, looking across the lagoon to the Boardwalk is just stunningly beautiful. Whoever disigned this area had some real talent. :thumbsup2

The first time we saw it was three years ago on a visit to Cape May's in the Beach Club, when we took a Friendship boat from HS. Wow! It's been a must do every year since.

From DHS to Epcot, you walk out of the bag check, and when you can continue either straight, or right to the bus, there's a path on the left along the water. Follow it all the way down to the Boardwalk, through the Boardwalk & into the Int. Gateway of Epcot.

Going the other direction is just in reverse, although it can be much easier to take a wrong turn and end up lost in the resort areas going this way :rotfl:

thanks, it looks long, but I have heard it only takes about 20min...is that true?

It could depend on crowd factor but if you aren't going during an event say SWW or Villians unleashed and at a normal pace I would say yes probably 20 mins from the exit to the drop off at the boardwalk...add on maybe 10 for beach club and another 15-20 for Epcot.

Agreed, ours as well.

Just don't walk this during the summer!! I convinced my friends to do this one year during sww, and to this day they still call it "the death march". Take the boat during hot months, I promise you that your family and feet will thank you!!!

Good advice-at least in the sun. Not a lot of shade, but evenings can be OK.

When staying at BWI or BWV (at least BW view side) you can get the pattern down and keep an eye out for when to walk down for a boat with no wait.

But park to park is tougher. You can see if a boat is there or just pulling up, and maybe if one is just coming around the bend-but other than that it's a guess.

In the cooler months is much easier.

Just did it repeatedly last week!! When you exit Epcot, via the IG, go left over the bridge towards BW. When you get to the boat dock (on your right) go to the left, to the Village Green. Stay on the right side of the Green. When you get to Wyland Galleries, go right, thru the tunnel area. You will come out at Luna Park, BW's pool area. Stay to the left, cut through the area and you come out on a sidewalk. Go left and keep on trucking...you'll be at DHS in under 20 mins from Epcot.
Reverse it going back to Epcot...exit DHS, stay to the left, with the parking lot on your right. Walk down the sidewalk beside the parking lot. You will come to a slope to your left...go down this and you're on your way to the BW area!!
It can be a death march in the heat..so if it's really sunny and humid, take the boat. There is little to no shade along the way!!! But it's an easy walk..even after dark. It's very well lit. I have walked it, by myself, at 2am!
