Or were you looking for a different look? Just let us know!!!! Also let us know where you are registered! Macy's is good if you have one in the area, or Baby's-R-Us, or a Target? Just register everywhere!!!

I typically put 2 4X6 pics on a 12X12 layout. Sometimes when I print up smaller wallet type sizes, I will put more pics on a page. Or if I print up 8X10's, I will only use one pic on the page unless I want to use tiny pics on the side or bottom. It all depends on what I am doing. But for doing something like this, I would typically design an album using 4X6 only and 2 per page.

The MAW book I helped do was 12x12 and we did 2-3 mats per page. I think they were 4x6.

And Maria 2 page spreads would be good too.

Is it possible that you're more excited than I am?

I'd hate to stand in the way of anyone's fun, so go ahead and plan away. I'm moving towards scrapping more 8x8 pages these days, so I guess that would make mailing things easier on that front. So far, I've only worked on some pregnancy pages, nothing at all for this little boy, so go wild!

OK, so we have narrowed it down to 8X8 Album size, right girls!!!! That is what she wants! On these size pages when designing an album, I like to only put one photo per page unless they are small photos!

Patchchild - question! Do you print your own pics so you can use odd sizes like 5X7, 4X6, 3X5, etc... or do you just use the standard 4X6 size? Just wondering for album design, also do you have a preference for types of papers used? Do you want the album we are making to match and tie in together or do you not care what the colors/designs of paper are?
Just wondering!!!!

Keep those topic lists coming - my best friend is expecting too and she doesn't scrap so I wanted to make her an album for the first year. Since I know nothing about babies and what exactly that first year will be like I need some ideas about what to include.

Count me in for some pages for Joy - I'll think about a theme. And I think the virtual shower is a terrific idea!

Ok, let's see. I do print my own pictures, usually 4x6 or 5x7, depending on the picture. I take oodles and more already so I can't even begin to imagine how many pictures of little baby toes and fingers I'll end up taking. Maybe I should look into more memory for the computer....

My albums tend to be a big mishmosh of styles, so anything goes.

Nursery. Not a theme so much as a starting point. I have a fantastic quilt that my aunt made that's all primary colors and bright colors. It's called pick-up sticks and I don't think there's a right angle in it anywhere. Lots of bright fun. We painted the walls a butternut yellow to match some of the accents in the quilt.

Thanks for the info on the room. It helps a lot! Oh and you will fill up massive amounts of memory. I have a zillion pics of DS10 when he was a baby, not so much of the next 2 but a lot of DD. Now that our family is complete we take more pics of the 4 of them together.

I'm in too. I made a super cute LO for DD when she was a baby. I called it Baby Parts. scared1: Now, don't get too excited.) Perfect for toe and feet and legs and bellies and hair and... I hope you get the picture (no pun intended! ). You know what I mean.
