Can anyone tell me of their recent experiences with port arrival times?
Are they still very strict about allowing people to enter if you are a little early?
We have 11:30 PAT... should we expect that there will be long line ups to enter ?
It would be disappointing to leave our hotel for 1130, only to be in line waiting for a long time.

We got off the Wish a few weeks ago. They were letting people park early but not allowing people to enter the terminal prior to their PAT. Employees were checking your PAT outside to make sure you were in your specified time.

We got dropped off so maybe there's a difference. Our PAT was 2pm. We arrived a little before 1pm and were allowed in. They checked too and didn't seem to care. They did call all groups soon after we arrived, so that be it too. This was Fantasy 7/21 out of PC.

So people could park in the parking garage and maybe wait there until the actual PAT?

Was it still easy to get lunch at cabanas by the time you boarded?
Are they having people go to muster stations before anything else?
Sorry..lots of questions!

We didn't head to Cabanas, because we were waiting in line to make dining reservations. I don't know if it was still open. Also, we had eaten a big breakfast at Boma, since we didn't think we would be getting onto the ship until close to Cabanas closing.

Which ship are you going on? I can only speak to the Wish post-COVID but there is no more going and sitting somewhere to muster. Instead, you go to your Lettered area, scan the QR code and you are then mustered and free to carry on with whatever you want to do. So much easier!!!!

For our fantasy on 7/21 - we were about 10 minutes early for our PAT and they did ask us and we showed them and they looked at their watch and said that we were fine.

Once pass the first check - we did have a line to get to a cast member to check in and then head to security. Then we went upstairs to the terminal where we waited (we had boarding group 6) and waited for them to call 6 before we boarded - did take about 30 minutes.

Our friends had a later PAT and they were able to walk right into the terminal and on the ship.

I think it's up to you - but you could show up on time and not worry about it or you could show up a little later than your PAT and probably walk right onto the ship once through security.

We were about a half hour early for our PAT. We were arriving by car rental shuttle, and our rental drop off went much quicker than expected. The shuttle driver said it wouldn't be an issue, and the port CMs said as long as we were no more than 30 minutes early, they would let us in. I think since people can test before getting to port, it allows them to be less strict about PATs.

For context, this was on 8/8, and our PAT was 11:15.

Muster process sounds very easy.

You can have one person per stateroom check in the entire group for muster. It’s done on your phone now and very quick.

I was on the August 20th Fantasy sailing with an 11:30am PAT. We dropped off my rental car car at 10:57am and took the National Rental Car shuttle over to the terminal around 11:10am or so. There was no discussion with anyone (shuttle driver, DCL staff) what my PAT time was.
