PAT - Can one person arrive early?

Hi all! First, I hope this makes sense. Second, I appreciate your insight.

I have a large family group going on a cruise next month, and we're coming from various locations. My fiancé and I have a PAT from 11:30 to noon. We're getting to the port the day before we cruise, and my mother will be with us as the three of us are traveling to the port together.

My mother is on a reservation with my grandmother (they're in the same room), and grandma is flying in separately the day of the cruise. Because of my grandma's flight, my grandma and my mom were given a much later PAT (after 2 p.m.).

However, like I said, Mom will be there with us the night before. Will she be able to arrive at the port with us from 11:30 to noon, or is she stuck on shore waiting until later in the afternoon for her scheduled PAT, even though she's already there?

She can enter the terminal when she arrives, regardless of her actual PAT, as long as the terminal isn't busy. One note, her boarding number that she will receive at check is tied to the PAT, so her number will be higher than yours, if you checks in at the same time as you.

That being said, by 12:15-12:30 Open Boarding has been announced, and anyone holding any boarding number can board. So she won't be waiting long. And you can wait until then also, if you wish.

There are varying reports as to whether everyone on a reservation has to check in at the same time or if each person can check in separately.

Well, the separate cards for each KTTW card is standard (for those parties that want to do that), so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Since she's not taking DCL transportation in, maybe she could change her online checkin to show an earlier flight, or that she's arriving by car, and perhaps that will give her an earlier PAT?

Oh, but is grandma taking cruise transportation? Drat.
