Pastamore

Pastamore has always been one of our favorites.

Last night it was absolutely terrible. From the service to the food, it was completely substandard.

Meals we had:
Italian Salad: ok - can't screw up lettuce too much
Calabrese: ok. The tomatoes were firm, but the "fresh" mozzerella was not so fresh.
Pasta Primavera - ok
Muscles Marinara - marginal - muscles were overcooked and tough.
Eggplant Parmesan - Marginal
Fettucine Alfredo - disgusting
Spaghetti Marinara - inedible

Although we were seated quickly with FOTL and ordered pretty quickly, it then took over 45 minutes to get our food.

And I think they left the pasta to melt in the water that whole 45 minutes.

We like our pasta a bit al dente. Last night the pasta was so overcooked, it was mushy and slimy.

We were standing in line for the Portofino boat and the couple in front of us had just eaten there too and was complaining about the service and the substandard food. So, I guess it was not only us.

Hopefully it was just a bad night.

The manager is formerly of Mythos, so this shouldn't have happened. Recent staff change?

Hopefully it was just one of those "perfect storms" that can affect any restaurant and it will pass.

I still miss Pastamore's Boursin steak. Yum!

i got food poisoning from the fetucini. It was terrible was throwing up the entire night. Never will order that type of food again when im in florida.
