Pastamore Restaurant - How is the food? We have the movie/meal coupons and I was trying to figure out a place that all 6 of us would like. Is the food real or fake italian?

We were just there last week. The food was pretty good. There 2 adults and 2 "children" . We asked to sit in the back away from all the noise of Citywalk and the stereos. Service was great. Good value for the price from what I recall. We also used our AAA discount and got 10% off. I would definitely go there again. There were no other restaurants at CityWalk that really appealed to use and our 10 & 13 year olds.

I'm Italian and I suppose that makes me spoiled to good Italian food. Pastamore is not it. Just my opinion as you will find a few that like the place and the food.More so over the years I have seen more thumbs down that up.

I like a little theming at CW restarants and Pastamore doesnt do that either.
They do an OK hot breakfast at the marketplace thats attatched.

For a fun, themed and delicious Italian meal Mama Della's is the one for me. But I guess that wouldnt work with your meal deal thing.

Pastamore gives you a lot of food for the money. If you have the meal deal for everyone in your party that wouldn't be an issue though. I agree with Fan2CSkr. It's more like Italian you'd get at a mall food court. The food is fine (some things better than others), but I wouldn't call it authentic. If you're using the meal deal, I would select someplace else. My personal choice would be Latin Quarter, but that may not work for your party.

We're some of the few that actually like Pastamore. But I agree with Fan2CSkr, authentic Italian it is not. Although not Italian myself, I grew up in a very, very Italian neighborhood in NJ, so appreciate the finer qualities of good Italian food. Pastamore + Good Italian = 0.

I would compare it more to a Carrabas or an Olive Garden - a chain 'Italian' place.

But if you go in knowing that, the food is not bad, service not too bad and you usually get seated rather quickly. And their bread is fabulous!

Pastamore is my least favorite restaurant in CityWalk. I have been there twice and been disappointed both times. The sauces tasted like plain tomato sauce to me.

We loved Pastamore. The food was good and plentiful and the service was good. We are planning to go back on our next trip.
