Will they open the inventory to the general public? And if they do, will they offer the general public the inflated cash price the DVC members have to pay?

After originally being excited about the 2005 Member Cruise, having a few days to really think about it, unless what they offer us is spectacular, I am looking at just booking the Halloween cruise.

Can someone that went on the past Member cruise try to talk me into this?

I didn't go on the Member Cruise but was around when the last one was. And I want to say it sold out to DVC members almost immediately, not long after they opened up reservations.

But I could be remembering wrong.

It was a sold out cruise.
It sold out in almost 1 day,
They had a wait list for some members canceling, but they even had to shut that down.
I have no doubts that it will be another sellout.
We plan to be on the phone bright and early.

The cool thing about the 1st member cruise was that it did sell out in about 2 days, but at the same time it wasn't a crowded ship. Why? Because many many cruisers were adults only without their kids. So instead of 3-4 in a room there were only 2. Saw it at dinner when a good 3rd of the room was empty. Also if you look at the picture they took on the beach you'll see that adults (in blue) far outnumber kids (in yellow).

Hee hee. While I agree that this makes it a bit more desirable, it might turn up on the "DVC Cruise" SG thread ;) ;)
