I am sure this has been asked before, so please forgive me ;) I was wondering if it is an absolute must that you have a passport to cruise. My kids passports have expired and I need to renew them for our upcoming cruise in january.....however, I was reading that you don't need a passport if your cruise leaves and comes back in to the same port. So now I'm wondering if it's even worth it to renew my kids passports. It's expensive and if I can cruise without them, I would love to save that money for on the ship!
