I have heard that you can get your passports stamped by ports you visit if you leave your passports with Guest Services. Is this true? What about islands such as St. Thomas or Castaway?

You can drop your Passport off at Guest services and they will try to have the document stamped ............... It is truly up to the Custom people and time ..................... Castaway Cay is also included ............. but St Thomas was not ......................
Just had ours stamped a couple weeks ago on Eastern ..............................

We were told to do this on the 2008 EBPC repo. I wish we had kept our passports and gotten then stamped ourselves -- especially in Colombia -- because none of the custom agents would stamp the passports that GS gave them.

We took our passports to be stamped ourselves in Nassau, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.

In Nassau, once you exit the Marketplace building after leaving the ship, go to your left. There is a small security booth...just beyond that is a yellow building with a fence around it and army guards. Just let the guards know you are getting your passport stamped and they will direct you to the proper office in the building. Have done this several times, and each and every time the folks there have been pleasant.

In Grand Cayman, the office is right near where the tenders drop you off and pick you up. Just ask any of the folks who work security in the area and they will direct you to the correct building.

In Cozumel, the building is about five blocks from the pier. Once you exit the pier, you will head to the left. I can't remember exactly where it was, but if you ask any of the security folks working on the pier, they can direct you to the correct building.

Hope this helps!

We just got our passports stamped on our March Dream cruise.

You don't need to go through the Marketplace building to get to the yellow building. Once you come to the end of the dock (you'll know this once people start asking you if you want cab rides, etc) you will see a yellow building just to the left of the Marketplace building that you have to enter to get on the 'other side' to Nassau. No need to go through the Marketplace.

You enter the yellow building, and right away they know what you're in there for: passport to be stamped. They will tell you to go right down the hallway to the last door on the right. They are friendly!

Glad to see this info, as I was curious - this will be my niece's first cruise and I thought it would be cool if she went home with stamps in her new passport. :)

This will be my DGDs 3rd trip, outside the US, BUT their first passport stamp. They didn't have a passport for their first cruise. We took them to Europe, and they didn't stamp our passports...just waived us through. I was soooo tired, I didn't realize it.

I really wanted our passports stamped for Nassau but when I asked 3 people at guest services they kept telling me that they didn't understand and that they don't get the passports stamped. :( Hopefully we will go back and now I will know where to go!

I would have liked to have had ours done there too.
