Has anyone else had issues with this website? I'm trying to download a passport application form for me and DD, but I can't get past the introduction page... :badpc:

Just did my DDs.

You can no longer download the application. You must do it through the website. You can get a pen number when you save it so that you can re-enter it and correct or add details. At the end of the process, you save it as a PDF and you print it. As much as it angered me that I couldn't just print it and fill it in, I have to admit it was a lot easier and neater via the website.

After you print it, you will need to get the passport photos signed by a person who has known you and your DD for more than 2 years. You will also need a witness to sigh after you do and your DDs father.

Then it's off to the post office with your small fortune, or arm and leg...

Oh, and the person who signs that its you can't live at the same address or be related to you. And the post officials can no longer witness you signing.

Oh! And the best thing is that, once filed, you are given a passport application number. You can then log on to the website, enter the number and then the name of the passport holder, and several other details (like the full name of the person who signed your photos) and then you are given a new pen. With the application # and pen, you can follow the progress of the passport! Nice.

hmm, still can't get passed the intro page, I select "accept" but the "next" button remains greyed over... :confused3

I had this same problem and you need to do something in your browser settings - Compatibility View.

There were instructions on how to do it. You had to list the website URL. It's in the passport news section. Home page has more info on it. Hope that helps.

^^^^ yes, this. I had to do this too. Thought it was just my very old browser that caused the issue. Didn't think about it in your case.

Hope it all works out.

I had trouble too, needed to change to Chrome and then it was ok. Can't remember if it was Firefox or IE that we had the issues with.
