We are planning on a 2006 cruise. Should I purchase the passporter now or wait?

We are cruising on September 11 on the Western Magic. I bought the first edition of the DCL PassPorter last summer and the new edition came on Friday. I found buying it last year helped with the initial planning before we booked. And getting the new edition is helpful with the current plans for the trip-excursions, what to bring etc.
I find both to be of help. Buying it now means that you can narrow down your choices about staterooms, category and which cruise to go on. And you can always get updates from their website after you register your book. ::yes::

We're not cruising until 11/05 and I have both editions. If nothing else, it gives me something to read in my "spare time" that gives me a dose of pixie dust to get me through!

I say, go for it, then get updates as you get closer to your travel date. Then, buy the current edition if you like. BTW, I highly, strongly recommend the deluxe versions (I have both DCL and WDW for the past 2 years) It's easy to take out pages you don't need, add pages of your own, and I love the PassPockets!
