I have never bother to look into ordering one..but now since it is so handy maybe I will consider it.
I didn't have time to flip thru it..so for you disney vets that have made 3 or more trips and are well versed in disney-get all your info here on the disboards..do you find or think that it be worth having???
We have made several trips and not sure-maybe it will just tell us what we already know?

Thanks so much for the tip! I was looking for one of these. Was this at Costco online or in your local store?

we've made a few trips & never used it til our last trip in the fall.
LOVED it!! We bought the deluxe one through amazon.ca so it could be a great keepsake and it has been.

Just as much fun looking at it now as it was to plan & vacation with & am taking one every trip from now on.

it is a disney vacation planner..

it was in store that I saw it..

We used one a couple of years ago and it was great. Mostly for a place to put everything though so I ended up making my own this time. Of course, DH told me that Costco had them, just after I had finished making ours. I probably would have bought it for that price.

I just bought mine on Saturday at the Costco in Ajax, ON for $17. I have never used one before and had thought about returning it until I gave it a good read and so how much useful info was in it. I really enjoyed the info on each individual attraction as we will be going with our DD who will be 2 and now I know how many rides she can go on. Which by the way is almost all of them.

Did they have the cruise one too or just the WDW book? I would love to learn more about the cruises and I would love to not pay shipping!

I was just going to post about this! It was $17 in my store as well. I don't even have a trip booked (yet) but when I saw the Passporter I told my son it was a SIGN - I needed the book and I need a trip.

We ordered one a few years ago but to be honest, you can get just as much information here and on other Disney boards. It did make a nice keepsake though.

I wouldn't think twice about getting it. I have one from our cruise last year, the 2007 WDW edition and just got 2009 deluxe WDW from Santa. Gor for it!!

I am so going to get one of those tomorrow. I had never heard of that before either. Thanks for the info.

So funny that you all noticed it at Costco too. We went this weekend and as we were both browsing, DH started waving this book around. I had no idea what it was but it was the Passporter. I was so proud of him for noticing it. In the end, I didn't buy it. I have the UG and with this site, it seemed like I had enough knowledge (if that's ever possible with Disney). Who knows, next time I may change my mind and buy it. lol

I didn't find that it provided enough detailed information- it was a good quick read with great pictures and graphics. I liked how they told you from a kids and a teen experience what rides and attractions they liked the best (along with adult) but to be truthful it lacked detail. But buy it if this is your first time to Disney and just want an easy overview of everything. It definetly adds to the excitement. Personnally I wouldn't buy another one b/c I found this board and Deb's unofficial page to be really good. I also liked the Frommer's book on WDW.

I was at the Ajax location today and there were only a few left (one stack).

it was our first time in Disney this past Dec group of 15 went. We were calling it passporter the "Disney Bible" by day two of our trip took it everywhere with us. Keep all the park maps in it our ADR times and Numbers. great quick look up on what attractions where about if we wanted to make the time to see something or skip it. Pockets in the back are perfect organizers. Information is easy to find and simple read. Just bought the 2009 at chapters for our return trip this coming Dec. Love the book.

I bought the Deluxe Passporter for myself off of the website when they were first released and my DD who's 12 really wanted her own after looking through mine. I was really happy to read that they were at costco and we were able to get her own copy to plan with. It was the first time I had seen them available to purchase at a store. It was so much easier than order online.:thumbsup2
