We've just ordered our copy from Amazon which includes some extras for £22 hope it's as good as it looks :goodvibes Has anyone else got a copy yet or had one before?? :surfweb:

We had one a few years ago, I am sure it has been enhanced and improved since but to be honest we didn't really use it at all.

We've bought one for our upcoming trip, looks very good but we'll have to see how much we use it. We've also purchased the brits guide to orlando which was a massive help on our last trip. :goodvibes

I'm a big fan of guidebooks and seem to have a copy of all the different ones. I like the friendly tone of Passporter, and thier ratings are pretty good, the restaurant guide and hotel guides are good, but i found that I never used the pockets at the back for recording our holiday information as they were a bit small for writing all I wanted to.
Where this guide misses out is its tour plans. It does have them, but there isn't a lot of logic to them and won't save you time like the Unofficial Guide or TGM would. It is also simply written, meaning that if you are a first-timer, then this is a nice gentle way to get a feel for it. If you have been a couple of times, then you will probably know most of the content already.
Having said that, I still refer to mine for its park maps, which are the best I've seen in any guide book, and it is easy to find something fast as the pages are colour tagged to section.

Sorry about that, seemed to go on a bit, so there you go, good and bad :teeth:

We've used Passporter 2005 & 2006, and will buy the 2007 soon.

Both years we have used it and the planning pages at the back are especially useful for making notes for trip reports etc.

Wouldn't leave home without it.

I bought the refillable one for our trip in 2004 and have just bought replacement pages ready for our next trip. I love it. :thumbsup2 The refillable one is brilliant because I read it all through at home then just take the maps and pockets on our trip along with the Brit's Guide, then replace them when I get home.

Can I ask whether you bought the replacement pages from a UK company? If so, perhaps you could PM me and let me know which one?

I have looked on the Passporter website and to buy the pages from them, will cost $60 minimum to ship over to the UK. Although I love the guidebook, I feel this is a bit steep!!

Thanks

Postage is deceptive on their website - it does not show the actual postage for International orders on their calculate postage page. If you go through to the final order page (before you actually commit for good) it does show the right postage. I just ordered 2 of the standard books and postage was only $16. because I had had a previous passporter the overall cost of each book was only £12 ish.

I always buy through the Passporter site, I can't remember what the postage was but I know it was minimal.

The refill pages and pockets (I have bought enough pockets for 21 days) cost approx £20 including postage.

We are seasoned WDW visitors and we thought this book would give us a different perspective :goodvibes So far we are quite impressed with the contents and love all the contact information and websites listed in it too.. :thumbsup2 Will also be keen to get the updates in the future when we need them, thanks everyone. We have read the Unofficial Guide and Brit's Guide to Orlando so much we've worked out our plans for our next vacation without any trouble. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I have the refillable type passporter and love it. I love the little pockets, they are great for storing park maps and bits and pieces that we collect on holiday in, and I love recording our best, worst and funniest things on them, they are great to look back on things I had totally forgotten. I also like taking it to work to read at lunchtime and everyone thinking I am really professional because it looks like a filofax :rotfl2:
