Passport Wait time

What is the present wait time for get your passport if you go to a passport office (GTA).
Once at the office how long does it take to see an officer. Last time I got my passport renewed was in the middle of the SARS outbreak.

It will vary day by day, and office by office.

In Mississauga, the week before Christmas, we waited about 45 minutes.

In London I waited about 45 minutes mid December - in the "fast track" with forms I had completed and printed out from the website (they told me it was a very slow day!). I got the passports back three weeks and one day later.

we went a few weeks ago to the ottawa office and they said the wait time was 2 weeks plus 1 week mailing, so 3 weeks. If you get there an hour before it opens the wait time will be minimal.

Went to the Missisasuga office this morning.
Arrived at the office at 7:45. Office opened @ 8
I was out of the office by 8:20
They say the passprot will be mailed out in 3 weeks
