Passport turnaround time

Submitted DSs application 10/24/11 and received his passport today! (11/2/11)

Forgot to mention, we applied at our local city hall passport acceptance office. Regular application, not expidited.

I got mine in 4 weeks..regular application through our local post office and I thought that was fast!

Apparently this is a good time for applying for things from Gov agencies.

I submitted my Birth Certificate order and notarized identity form on Thursday last week, faxed to vitalcheck, who sent it to the county recorders office where I was born. I selected the free regular mail option. It was IN my mail on Monday!! Serious, 4 day turnaround over a weekend?! Holy moly, LOL..

Now, tomorrow we have an appt to apply for passports, let's see how fast that goes!

Excellent! That's the fastest turnaround time I've heard of. Dh and I received ours in 3 weeks and we thought that was great! Enjoy your cruise!
