passport question

Do we (Canadians) need a passport to get into the states or can we still get in with photo ID and birth certificate, we are planning to leave in 2 weeks and don't have a passport (its just my husband and I). We will be flying, does it cause delays? Thanks!

You should be fine with photo ID and BC's. I think the official US policy is for all travellers to show proof of citizenship, which the BC's would most likely take care of.... have a great trip...
