Do you need to have a passport to travel to Mexico? Please tell me no. If not is there any special paperwork I need to have with me.

Thank you so much for the link and your quick reply. I was just in a moment of panic and the search feature doesn't work very well on this computer at work. I thought here I finally decided to go on this work trip and won't be able to because I don't have time to get a passport.

It dosen't say in your profile, but if you are a female traveling with a married name... you also need a photo copy of your marriage license. It does not need to be certified.

This will show why your birth certificate says "JONES" and your valid drivers license shows "SMITH".

Thank you!!! I never would have thought about my marriage license. I am travelling without my husband for the first time and never would have thought about that. I am a little paranoid as I haven't really travelled alone to a foreign country before. Thank you again for the info.

Come on... Mexico isn't "really" a foreign country... it's attached to the US, and all...;)

Have a great trip!
