Hi all! We will be flying from Buffalo in September ($650 for all 3 of us! SCORE!) and I know my 4 year old doesn't need a passport to cross the border, but will he need one to fly while in the states? I know that it's the best option, I'm just curious as to whether it's a necessity. Thanks!

Nope, we have flown twice with DD after driving across the border without a passport for her. It has crossed my mind that if we had an emergency and had to fly back to Canada direct we may run into a problem. But it doesn't worry me enough to go and get her one yet.

Thanks very much for the info! DS has autism and the idea of trying to get a passport pic makes me break out in hives.
