I did my passport today. They said it would be here on the 9th. Have you seen them show up sooner?

We did our son's recently and it came exactly when they said it would! (maybe a day or two earlier).

My daughter had her wallet stolen recently too, and unbeknown to me, she had her BIRTH CERTIFICATE in there along with all her other I.D.
To get ANY I.D. replaced, we need a birth certificate. Hmph! So I paid to have it expidited, I ordered it on Monday (2 days ago), it was guaranteed to be here within 5 days or my money refunded. It was here TODAY!
(The police found her wallet, and it only had her student I.D. left in it. What on earth would someone do with a 17 year olds SIN, OHIP, Birth Certificate, and bank cards?) All have been cancelled, or reported stolen, so hopefully nothing even down the road will affect her from this, as far as identity theft goes).

We just recieved ours today! We got them less than a week from the date we dropped our applications off at the passport office! I couldnt believe they were that fast!!

They are usually pretty accurate as to when you will get them. If you have a local passport office you MIGHT be lucky and get yours early. GL!

We had ours back within the week as well, they said to expect them on or about the 2nd of july. Never expected them so soon! 5 days later and here they were!:cool1:

wow they said 9th it got here on the 7th :cool1:

website said 12th. not even close.

My husband, son and I all went to the office to submit ours, they were here within 8 business days. Mailing them in can take alot longer, I know my brother and sister-in-laws took 5 weeks by mailing the forms in.

I'm just double checking....actually triple checking. Now I don't need passports for my kids under 16 right? Unless they are traveling without me. So as of right now they fall under my passport right?

Thanks... and also to the OP I didn't mean to hijack your thread...it just didn't make sense to open a new thread just for this. Please don't be mad.:flower3::flower3:

Thanks

Lannah

Children under that age of 14 as long as you are not flying or taking a cruise you only need a birth certificate.
