Passport Emergency (PANIC OVER)!!!

Hi all,
We went down to the passport office today (sat) at 10:45 our appointment was at 11am, and they say to arrive 10min before NO EARLIER, so the security guard made us wait 5 more min outside.

Then at 10:50 we went back and got streight in to reception, told them who we were and got a tickeck with a number on it 1201 sat down in the waiting area and watched the big screen "now serving ticket number XXX"

At 11:01 the tanoy rang out ticket No. 1201 window 3...(just like at a bank/post office), so we took the completed form and 2 photos it was a quick 2 min check and all was OK.

We were then given another slip of paper to take to the cashier where we paid by visa £95.50!!!!!!!!!! but DH did get a 48 page passport as he will be doing a lot of traveling next year with work (RN) and hopefully he will be able to claim most of it back off the Navy.

and 4hrs later at 14:50 we went back and colected his new PP...worry over for the next 10 years...
10 more trips to WDW...if only lol

I am so glad that the panics over, i was so worried for you that i came on here personally to find out how you got on.

I think its always best to take extra caution and i am glad everything is okay.

To be honset, it was a welocme distraction as now all I can think about is going next Sunday...

The spare room is like a war zone with cases and clothes every where, I'm on my second load of washing (freshening things up prior to packing).

and when all thats done, what can I do to pass the time...
