Passport and Drivers license don't match

Just a question. My Mom's first name is long and her drivers license cuts off the last two letters. Her passport has the entire name. Because the name won't match exactly will that cause any problems for her.

I know someone on here will know.

Honestly I doubt there'd be any problems at all.....

She only needs her passport, she won't need to show her license at check in.
