Passing The Time While You Wait

I don't like just sitting and waiting, but sometimes we must. If I am alone I usually file my nails, lol. If I am in a very public place like an airport I like to people watch. I find it hard to concentrate on a book, but newspapers and magazines are ok. Often I pray, there are usually many things to talk to God about, so I use the time to pray and listen.
What do you do when you have to wait?

praying is a good one but for some reason it takes so much concentration to pray, at lest for me. I Got a blackberry a while back so I spend waiting time on the internet

In a crowded place, I definitely people watch..

I can flip through a magazine, or text on the phone

I rarely go anywhere without a book tucked into my purse so I can read if I have to wait somewhere. Today, I had some unexpected wait time and found a free newspaper with a crossword puzzle that kept me busy.

I like to make up stories in my head, too lazy to write them down If I'm in a crowded place I often weave a passerby into the plot of the story.

Find something to read - even if it's the back of a cereal box or a pamphlet on foot fungus.. Nothing makes time go by faster for me than reading..

Mostly people watch, find the closest thing to read, or text if I'm texting someone. If it's an awkward situation then I'll just pretend to text.
